Weekend workshop

It was a good breezy day. This is probably the last time this summer any workshops can take place on the wonderful CMYK terrace. I am always giving workshops in my studio so please contact me if you or any of your friends are interested!

Custom-made Book

This coptic has been made for Amjad Ahmad. The covers have been made using a subtle and beautiful mulberry paper from Handpaperline. The inside pages are handmade as well. The six signatures have been bound using leather cord. It was a bit tricky to use this cord for the binding. It gives an uneven finish - partly because the cord itself slightly varies in thickness throughout. The cover has a small block-print mounted on two tiny squares of handmade paper from Khadi.
